NOTICE FOR SSC GD CONSTABLE NOTIFICATION–

Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024.

Educational Qualifications (As on 01-01-2024):

The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.

Incentive to NCC Certificate Holders:

The incentive to ‘NCC Certificate’holders will be granted at the following scales

NCC ‘C’ Certificate—5% of the maximum marks of the examination.

NCC ‘B’ Certificate—3% of the maximum marks of the examination

NCC ‘A’ Certificate— 2% of the maximum marks of the examination

Application Fee:–

1.Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs One hundred only).

2 Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC). Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

3 Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.

4.Fee can paid by the candidates up to 01-01-2024 (2300 Hours) through online mode only. There will be no option to pay fee through any other mode.

Physical Standard Test (PST): —

Physical Standards for the posts are as follows:

Male: 170 cms

Female: 157 cms

Few categories of candidates are allow relaxation in mention official Notification. Relaxed standard of height for candidates are as follows heights such–official Notification.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates have to clear the race within the

following time limits:

5 Kms in 24 minutes.1.6 Kms in 8 ½ minutesFor candidates other than those belonging to Ladakh Region.
1.6 Kms in 7 minutes800 metres in 5 minutesFor candidates of Ladakh Region.

Mode of selection:

The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE).

Physical Standard Test (PST),

Physical Efficiency Test (PET),

Medical Examination (DME/RME) and Document Verification.

Candidates scoring following cut-off marks–

NCC certificate holders are benifit for above relaxation.

N.B-eligible for short-listing to the nextstage i.e. PST/PET:

UR—–30%

OBC/EWS–20%

All other categories—25%

Male and female candidates will be shortlist State and Area-wise and category- wise on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based Examination (including NCC bonus marks, if applicable) for appearing in the PST/PET. The number of candidates shortlisted for PST/ PET on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based examination will be about 8 (Eight) times of the number of vacancies. More number of candidates can be shortlist against the vacancies of SSF.

Steps of SSC GD CONSTABLE NOTIFICATION

The candidates who are successful in the PST/ PET will be consider eligible for short-listing to the next stage i.e. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV).
